Hearo Remote Supports Professional Training
This course will teach you (a Remote Support Professional) how to use the Hearo Remote Supports platform for remote monitoring. You will also learn to navigate the dashboard, make video and audio calls, and understand how all the devices in the system work to support the person served!
You will also learn how important system functions, like the rules engine and scheduling tools, work so that you can support individuals based on their specific needs.
By the end of this course, you'll be fully equipped to use the Hearo system!
Overview

After you sign in, you'll land on the Remote Support Dashboard—specifically in the Activity section. Let's take a quick look at each part of this dashboard. Here, we'll give a brief overview and go into more detail in the next sections.
**Activity: **
This is the main page you will see after logging in. It shows all the Locations you support and any activity happening at those places.
Note: Activity Logs are alerts and notifications sent by sensors and other devices at the location. For example, if someone at a location moves near a motion sensor, the motion sensor will send a notification to your Remote Support Dashboard.
**Reminders: **
In the Reminders section, you can set up repeating reminders that are sent directly to the individual. They’ll see these reminders on their tablet or in the Hearo App on their phone or tablet.
Note: Reminders are helpful for daily tasks like taking medicine, leaving for work, or other regular activities. Also, when a reminder is sent, the location's light bulbs will automatically flash to help get the individual's attention.
Individuals:
Here, you will find the individuals information that you're supporting. This information is typically entered during the setup of a new location, so you won’t have much to edit or do on this specific dashboard page.
**Locations: **
This section gives you a quick look at all the places your company supports. You’ll see basic info like the name and address of each location.
When you click on a location, it will take you to the Location Details page. The Location Details page will give you a deeper look at what’s going on there—like recent sensor activity, the health of devices and sensors, and other important info for remote monitoring.
**Reports: **
This page lets you view custom reports for any location your company supports.
Export Logs:
Using Export Logs allows you to create a custom report; here is where you can do that! We will dive deeper into this function later on in the course.
**Users: **
The Users section lists everyone who has access to your company's dashboard, including co-workers, Service Coordinators, Guardians, and others.
Companies:
Here you’ll see your company’s name and the company-wide rules. These are the rules the system follows at all locations in your company this will more than likely be set up by your manager.
**UpTime Status: **
Click on this tab to quickly check if the system is online or offline at each location.
**Send Notification: **
Unlike Reminders (which happen on a schedule), you can use the Send Notification feature to send a one-time message to the person’s phone and tablet.
By default, their home’s light bulbs will also flash to help get their attention.
Log Notes:
This is where you can see notes that were added to specific activity logs.
Note: Activity logs are alerts from sensors or other devices. They’re created when someone uses or triggers technology used at the location, like walking past a motion sensor, and the RSP enters a note on that specific log. That note and activity log will be cataloged here.

Dashboard Login
Logging into the Hearo Dashboard is easy! After you receive an email invite (check your inbox and spam folder), follow the link to create your password. Then, visit app.hearo.net, enter your email and password, and you're in! Please follow the steps below for step-by-step instructions.
To log in even faster, bookmark app.hearo.net and save your password using a secure method. If you ever log out, this will help you log back in quickly.

Type your email into the email section.

Next, type in your password. This is case-sensitive!

Now that you have entered your email and password, please click 'Sign In'

After signing in, you should see the dashboard!
