Assigning a Tablet
Assigning a Hearo Tablet
Hearo Tablets can be assigned or reassigned at any time by a Remote Supports User. The tablet must be online for the change to take effect.
To start, look for the small battery icon in the top left corner. Press and hold until a login window appears, then sign in with your Hearo account to complete the assignment.

Assigning to an Individual
Most of the time, a tablet will be assigned to a specific person. This allows the device to handle calls, messages, and alerts just for them. Medication reminders, notifications, and other activity are all tied directly to that individual, so there’s no confusion about who the content belongs to.

Assigning to a Location (Communal Use)
You can also assign a tablet to a location instead of a person. In this mode, the tablet still handles calls, messages, and alerts, but they apply to the whole setting. Personal notifications, like medication reminders, are skipped so the device works as a shared tool.
Tablets can be assigned to as a communal device by just selecting the location and not an individual. This will allow the tablet to be used for calling, messages, alerts for the location and ignore showing notifications like medication alerts for a specific Individual.
Assigning to an individual will result in all the same features; the only difference is that all content and actions are attributed to the individual.
